Business Roadmapping

Marigold Consulting helps founders and growing businesses turn big ideas, growing pains, and operational complexity into clear plans, processes, and systems.

Whether you're building something new, scaling what already works, or simply know your business needs more structure, Marigold helps you figure out what comes next and how to get there.

- you have a great idea but aren't sure what needs to happen between idea and execution.

- your company is growing, but your processes haven't grown with it."

- information lives in people's heads, documentation is scattered, responsibilities aren't clear, or you've accumulated tools and workarounds that no longer make sense.

- you just know something needs to change, but you're too close to the business to see exactly what.

Do any of these sound familiar?

That's where we come in. Marigold brings an outside perspective to your business, asks the right questions, and turns what we uncover into a practical plan forward.

How it works

From "we should probably fix this" to a clear path forward.

1. Discover

We start with the big picture.

Where are you trying to go? What's working? What's frustrating your team? What are you building? What decisions are you struggling to make?

Depending on the project, discovery may include founder and team interviews, workflow observation, documentation review, systems review, or an on-site assessment.

2. Assess

Next, I look at how the pieces fit together.

That may mean mapping current workflows, reviewing how information moves through the business, identifying missing documentation, evaluating tools and systems, clarifying responsibilities, or identifying capabilities you'll need as you grow.

The goal isn't to create more process for the sake of process.

It's to understand what's actually standing between where you are and where you want to go.

3. Plan

Then we turn the findings into something actionable.

Depending on your needs, that could include:

  • Business and operational planning

  • Current- and future-state workflow maps

  • Process improvement recommendations

  • Documentation and standardization plans

  • Systems and tooling recommendations

  • Quality and risk considerations

  • Roles, resources, or capabilities needed for growth

  • Prioritized implementation roadmaps

You'll leave with clarity around what needs to happen, what should happen first, and what can wait.

4. Build

When it makes sense, Marigold can stay involved for clearly defined implementation projects.

That might mean developing documentation, implementing a new knowledge-management system, standardizing processes, coordinating a project, or bringing in the right specialist for work outside my expertise.

You don't need one consultant pretending to be an expert in everything.

You need someone who can see the whole picture, build the plan, and help get the right pieces moving.

Bring me the idea, the bottleneck, the messy workflow, or the "I know we need to fix this, but I don't know where to start."

We'll figure out what comes next.

Lets Connect

Tell me what you're working on.

You don't need to know exactly what kind of support you need. Tell me a little about your business, idea, or challenge, and I'll reach out to talk about what comes next.
